Alumni Involvement:

Fraternity membership is for life, and many alumni continue to contribute to the Fraternity even after college. Following graduation, all members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon are encouraged to remain active in fraternity and to join the alumni association. Alumni residing outside of the local chapter area can also participate through area alumni associations throughout the country.

The Cal Kappa Informer is a bi-annual newsletter published by the active members to inform alumni on the current status of the house. It also features an overview of the activities the house has been participating in over the preceding months.

There are several events throughout the year that we specifically encourage Sigma Alpha Epsilon alumni to attend: Homecoming, Founder’s Day, and Picnic Day. Homecoming is when our alumni are able to enjoy a few burgers with the company of the active brothers, and then head out to the football stadium and watch the Aggies compete against other schools. Founder’s Day, one of the most important events, is a day to rejoice since we grow one year older of being one of the best fraternities in the nation. Last but not least, Picnic Day is believed to be the largest student-run event in the nation. This festive day showcases the talents, achievements and history of the university.

A Fraternity’s success is not solely based on the performance of its active members. That is why we strive to maintain a strong relationship with our alumni since we know that our Fraternity’s success is mostly possible thanks to our alumni support.
